This is a solid, affordable sauna for the neighborhood. Went for the first time on a Sunday night. The facility is the perfect size with just the right amount of amenities. I definitely plan to regularly return. Although the facility is mostly clean, there is some room for improvement - especially the walls, and the pool water at night (after the rush from the day, I assume). Also, the attendant on the night that I went could have been a bit friendlier. But hey, we all have our days. If, upon further visits, the above improvements are made, I'll happily change my rating to a five star!

My experience at this spa was positive and relaxing. My aroma therapy massage was 10/10, the steam room and saunas were perfect, the pools and entire facility was clean, and the staff were very friendly and nice. I’ll be back every month. Def. A gem in Flatbush.

An absolute gem in the community! I came to The Brooklyn Bathhouse not knowing what to expect, especially since it was my first time at a bathhouse — but the experience was nothing short of amazing. The staff were incredibly welcoming and took the time to give me a full tour, explaining everything in detail so I felt totally comfortable. The amenities were top-tier, clean, and thoughtfully designed. I’ll definitely be back!

I received a gift certificate for a 1 hour massage. This was my first visit. My visit was in the afternoon. I found the receptionist very friendly and welcoming. I then took two hours to enjoy the saunas, dry , wet and steam. Each sauna was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Next I tried the pools. The pool room is lovely, with blue and white tile wall colors that remind me of under the sea. I put my feet in the cold plunge pool only then enjoyed the warm and hot pools. They also have a small cafe which was not serving the menu at the time of my visit. Did have snacks and drinks available which I thought was a nice touch. Finally time for my massage! It was the Best I ever had! I have constant pain in my next, shoulders, hip and lower back. When the massage was done my pain was gone. I like that she had a strong touch on my problem areas which help loosen them up. Soothing touch on general areas. After I returned to the women’s locker room. Again very clean toilets and showers. Towels and terry robes are provided as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Other thoughtful items provided are q-tips, hairbands, disposable razors, mouthwash and hairdryers . I had a great visit and will definitely return!
