I got my memorial tattoo with Soeen this January, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! This tattoo has been percolating in my heart for over five years, since my father passed in 2020, so it was incredibly meaningful to me. My husband gifted it to me as a Christmas present, and I’m so grateful that Soeen was the artist I was paired with.
I first reached out in mid-December for a personal consultation over email, went in-person that same week, reviewed the artwork, made a few small tweaks, and finalized the design and placement together on the day of my appointment. The whole process felt smooth, thoughtful, and collaborative from start to finish.
Soeen was so patient, attentive, and meticulous, especially when it came to making sure the placement on my arm felt just right. She really took the time to understand what I wanted and created a custom Asian illustrative design that was way better than anything I could have imagined! I felt truly heard and cared for throughout the entire experience.
I live locally in the neighborhood and have always wanted to get tattooed here—I even reached out back in 2024 but didn’t pull the trigger at the time. I’m so glad I finally did, and even happier that it was with Soeen.

Throughout the process of designing the tattoo, Wasabi was supportive, friendly, and communicative, checking in with me and changing the design based on my feedback. (Her designs are also amazing!! Highly recommend if you like fine line and asian-inspired style tattoos!) During the appointment, she was very professional and also approachable, making me feel totally at ease despite it being my first tattoo experience. tldr: Wasabi was amazing, and I'm so glad my first tattoo was done by her!
